RKM Student Comes First in Dist in Madhyamik Exam
Malda, 29 May: Students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandir once again did comprehensively commendable performance in Madhyamik examination. Basudeb Ghosh of the school has stood first in the district securing 659.

Son of a policeman Basudeb was delighted at his performance though he said that he expected to do a little better. Monastic headmaster of the school Brahamachari Anirbanachaitanya informed that out of 119 examinees 118 passed in first division while 91 out of them got star marks. Asikur Rahaman of the same school has come fourth in the district obtaining 648.
Dhouli Jha of Barlow Girls’ high school with 654 has obtained second position in the district though she is first among all girl examinees in Malda. Headmistress Pranati Dasgupta informed that 196 girls took Madhyamik examination this year from the school. “47 girls have obtained star marks and 113 have passed in first division,” Ms Dasgupta said.
Mahidul Afridi of Jainpur high school in Kaliachak has stood third in the district securing 650. Son of a primary school teacher Abul Kalam Azad, Afridi was studying as a residential student. His native village is at Fuluri in Murshidabad.
92 students took Madhyamik examinations from Malda Zilla School this year. It has been learnt that 51 examinees passed in first division while 18 obtained star marks.
